Blog Award and Graphic Help

I would like to give out an award for Best Christian Blog 2008. What blogs do do think I should consider? Also, if you are good at making graphics, could you help me out? Email me at JRG39402@yahoo.com. I just want something that says Best Christian Blog 2008 with in smaller letters ChristianInCollege.com.

Justin, just make sure you aren’t playing favorites–that’s unBiblical! but it might be okay to have this award just to raise awareness of Christian blogs. So what is your motive?

Many awards you see on the Web were just started (like your’s) by someone who saw something they wanted to show appreciation for, be it good web design, great content, high ideals, ect… also there are some that are raspberry awards, usually for some poor content, or misprint, misquote, and the like.
Just an idea in keeping with your Name: Collagechristian, How about a Bible poking out of a book bag, or held by a hand showing the Title “Bible” or some such, so you can see the iconology right away, relating it to Class/School.
When you give the award, I’d suggest to lable it with a catagory on why it was given, “Best Content” “Best Christian Resource” “Best look” “Best scripture usage” “Best example of Christian Love” the list is infinate but in that way you can give 3 to 5 awards a year, just know if you want to keep this running – If you give a certian award one year you should keep giving that award each year. If you stop giving out any award you have given our the prior year people will not take it as serious as we should. I think you should do this. It will give encouragement in places I think it may be needed, but as of yet is neglected.
Good luck, I know it will be more difficult to decide on all the wonderful sites you have to choose from.
