The belief that there was nothing. And suddenly from that nothing there was a man, then that man made an entire universe out of nothing in seven days.

Well blow me down! That is sooo much more feasible and sensible than atheism.

Open your eyes people, God is a delusion.

umm, im not an atheist,im christian. but i can’t see how people say atheists are far fetched or that theres no proof, I just think its a tiny bit hypocritical to say they are far fet fetched when other beliefs claims theres some big spirit guy who knows everything and created everything, also just 2 point out theres no proof to christianity either.

Jeez guys, can’t you take a joke?
I’m not the author of this text/image, but I’m pretty sure the point was not to mock the belief there is not god(Atheism).

The point of this, was to mock the picture making fun of religion/christianity, by making an equaly stupid generalization of atheism(which is probably the belief of the creators of the picture making fun of christianity).

I agree that it makes no sense, but this is not what atheism is – it’s not even close. Atheism is the rejection that a god exists – nothing to do with explosions, universes, magic, creation theories, self-replication, dinosaurs.

Religious or not, it’s important to get terminology right. Tacking on a false meaning to a word then spreading it as correct is not the way to go.

The author of this poster is outrageously misinformed and contributes ignorance towards the Christian faith.

I totally agree with you. It is just absurd to believe that something came from nothing. You’re so smart. Since you’re a smart guy (and also since something can’t just come from nothing), where did God come from? Did the maker have a maker? If so, did the maker’s maker have a maker? Go ahead William Paley, answer that one.
