The internet can be a wonderful thing. In fact, it is what I use to get the Christian gospel out to the world. However, it also has sites that can undermine the Christian witness for you and your family. I encourage Christian parents to set ground rules for their children’s internet usage, talk with them about what is acceptable and what is not, place the computer in a public room where the monitor can be seen, and to install an internet filter. There are many great internet filter’s available. If you cannot afford an internet filter, you can get a free one here.

In addition to filtering (mostly used for children), I recommend that adults look into an accountability program for themselves. Covenant Eyes is the pioneering company in this.
