Plant your Gospel Seeds with Fertilizer

Want your gospel tracts to have more of an impact? Add some fertilizer! Just a suggestion, but consider handing out a dollar bill when giving out gospel tracts. It immediately gets the attention of the person you give it to. When going to a drive through, give money (seperate from your purchase money) with a gospel tract. Just wrap the bill around the gospel booklet and hand it to them. Make sure to be very kind and have a warm presense. When you give out gospel tracts, you are also adding fertilizer to your prayer life. You will always have something to pray about when you have planted seeds of the gospel!

I don’t use or like tracts. Just find them ineffective.
Paper will never replace the human contact. A dollor is cheep but if you care then spend time to accually help the person, not just focussing on helping them get to God. Compation used in humility does more to turn the heart toward God than any bit of money and much printed word.

Dee, gospel tracts are absolutely 100% ineffective for you, because you don’t use them.
But I am not proposing you use them as long as you’re still an evangelist which I’m sure you are. I just wish you would not downplay them. I have seen tracts work. Plus, people like me often use tracts to initiate a conversation.
Justin,
I find them ineffective because 90% of the time people just don’t read them. There are other ways that are much more effective. I use a few tracts but there are much better ways to share the Gospel.
Plus I don’t like the idea of wrapping them in money. That just doesn’t sit well with me.
That’s fine Dee. I will use what I find effective and you use what you find effective. As long as neither is Unscriptural.
