Praise God for Martin Luther King Jr.

Today we celebrate a holiday named after a man who fought against injustice. I am grateful for what MLK Jr. did to help bring about equality for the black race. We have made much progress over the past few several years, but there is still more to be done. Let’s pray that God will heal the hearts of those affected by racial prejudice.

Dr.King did not restrict his “fight” to injustice to Blacks but to all people. His Dream is one That I wish we all would Realize in the true sence of the word, to understand and make real. His Dream is that one day we just acept things as they are Black and white, pink, yellow, tan, and burned, skin is just skin not a factor to discriminate with, also gender/sex, religion, age, culture, and all are things that we discern in people but we should never discriminate with. After all we are all part of the same family. We need to put away our hate and misconceptions of others and deal with a new era to come, one in which we will respect eachother no matter how different we may look. I say we do away with our zenophobia, and rejoice in our differances.
