Seeds Planted and Watered – Pray for the Harvest
5:16 am in Evangelism by Justin
I went out witnessing at the local mall a few days ago. I gave out several million dollar bill gospel tracts and gave several of my gospel surveys (which I will post for you the questions sometime soon. While I was doing this, a man questioned me why I was giving out the million dollar bills and I told him that it contained a Christian message and that I was a Christian. He told me that he was of the Jewish faith. I had the opportunity to tell him about the Jewish savior and why he died. I told him that he died for sinners, but when I asked him about his sin, he said that he was morally perfect. Pray for his heart to be changed.
When I do things like this, sometimes I wonder about the impact. Do people even remember the message of the gospel I am spreading? Well about the next day I am working at Walmart when I ask a customer if I can help the find anything. They didn’t need anything, but there face suddenly changed. ”Are you the one who was giving out the million dollar bills,” they asked. I told them that I was and found out that they had received one of my tracts… a year ago! It had left an impression on them. Praise God!

That’s an awesome story! I have moments like that too, especially when I leave tracts at the gas station. Will it really do anything? But praise God for giving you this encouragement.
That’s really amazing actually.
Have you heard the story of the little old man on george street?
Amazing! I am going to have to get a good supply of tracts of some sort and start giving them out to people. I have heard a similar story before where a man who had been impacted by a guy who was handing them out replaced the original guy because that original guy stopped handing them out thinking it was pointless.
Yeah, I’ve heard the story Jacob.
